A flexible, weldable, metal parts protector. Prevents rust and corrosion on all metal parts. Apply to machined parts, dies, pipe threads, casting, tools, jigs and stamped metal parts. Prevents corrosion due to salt spray on cables, hoists, pulleys, winches and riggings.

Great for marine use and long-term vehicle storage! Protect metal parts on boats, ships and dock equipment. Long-term protection for indoor or outdoor storage. Excellent for protecting materials while in transit.

This product is USDA-authorized. A 2 or 3-mil coating will provide indefinite protection for indoor storage and 6 months to 1-year protection for outdoor storage. A 5 or 6-mil coating will protect materials for up to 2 years in outdoor storage. The film is a transparent amber waxy coating which is easy to see through. It can be removed by washing with kerosene or mineral spirits. Once removed, parts can be painted.

How to Use:

1. Prepare Surface: Ensure the metal surface is clean, dry, and free of any existing rust or contaminants.
2. Shake Well: Shake the Proflex can thoroughly to activate the formula for optimal performance.
3. Spray Application: Hold the can approximately 6-8 inches away from the surface and apply an even coat of Proflex Long-Term Metal Parts Protector.
4. Allow to Dry: Allow the sprayed surface to dry completely, forming a protective barrier against rust.
5. Reapply as Needed: For extended protection, reapply the rust prevention spray periodically, especially in high-exposure environments.
